Ikebana is a creative art of Japanese floral arranging dating back to the 8th century.

Sogetsu Ikebana is the contemporary art form utilizing flowers, leaves and branches.  The discipline emphasizes color, space, line and form using minimal elements.

Ildiko's interest began many years ago when she took classes. She is  now a Sogetsu teacher.  Her pieces have been displayed at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, Los Angeles County Museum, Creative Art Center in Sierra Madre, the L.A. Arboretum, Studio Channel Islands Art Center and the Pomona County Fairgrounds.

Ikebana flower arrangements are available for special occasions in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Contact Ildiko to discuss custom pieces, pricing. and workshops.
